I have taken art classes all throughout elementary school and the first two years of middle school, but have not taken high school courses for longer than a week-- as I've learned that finding schedule openings for art was harder than I expected.

 

Since then I have craved to experiment with art in its various mediums on my own, and push the boundaries of my personal creativity. Whether that means teaching myself how to sketch illustrated characters using pencil, sewing myself a jean skirt, or drawing henna designs on my skin in my spare time, art has crept its way into my life even when it can't sneak into my schedule.

But the time for excuses is over. I'm ready to let art jump right in and leave all of the creeping and sneaking behind.
